Tibby's Pond

Tibby's Pond. My, what a place that was. A natural cove on the basin that dried up at low tide.

Photo of a snail. All the kids hung out there and played. Especially in the summer. Rafts, swimming (if you didn't know how to swim, someone showed you how 'cause all the young ones learned to swim), just hanging out. That was the place to be.

Why is it Tibby's? Well, since Tibby's house was next to it, it became her pond, I guess.

What a place to play and see the sea life.
